The HermitageThe Hermitage
One of the most wonderful palaces in North-Eastern Europe, is the Winter Palace of Tsar Peter 1 in Saint-Petersburg (Russia), also called The Hermitage. Here you find a huge collection of art, crown juwelery, ancient history, Old Master paintings etc.

Aurora CruiserAurora Cruiser
The Aurora is an old Russian cruiser which was build in 1903 to be part of the Russian Baltic fleet. But after the Russian defeat to the Japanese in 1904 it was sent to the Pacific along with a large part of the Russian Baltic fleet.

The aquarium includes sea life from all over the world including the Amazon, Russia, South Asia and the Great Barrier Reef. The main viewing window of the tank is reminiscent of a crystal flat screen TV with a seating section and everything.

Peterhof the great palacePeterhof the great palace
The Great Palace started by Peter the Great is outside of St Petersburg on the Gulf of Finland. The palace is not the only thing to see there. The gardens around it has many many fountains, and the Grand Cascade leading to the terrace of the palace from the gulf is magnificant.
