Visa support (approval letter) – is the document on which base you can receive the visa.

To get tourist visa to Russia a foreigner must have visa suport documents, which can be provided by VAO Intourist. Visa support documents are given to Intourist's clients free of charge if they reserve hotel accomodation through the company and consists of confirmation letter and tourist voucher. These documents, prepared and sent to the clients by Intourist consultants/managers, are based on the sample accepted by any Russian Consulate.
